Sometimes when a singer is singing

Some people start dancing

Creating a wonderful spectacle.

Saints always talk of divine music

Going on in the cosmos

Are we not here to create a spectacle?

There are very few who are tuned

To this music eternal

And fewer still who participate in the cosmic dance

Most of the people have no ears

For the music of creation,

And they find themselves at odds with life.

We move in the world like Asurs*

People who are out of harmony

With the divine.

*Asur is Hindi word used for monsters

Laughing-EmojiTHE LAST LAUGH

We move with certain perceptions

And always try to prove

That we were right.

We do not like

If someone belies our thoughts

About ourselves and otherselves

All debates and discussions

Have one thing in common

Each tries to have his end up.

And until we are able to see

Our stand is justified

We continue the dialogic fight

Even kids stop crying

Only when they realize

Their mom has agreed they were right

Lovers go on fighting

Till one of them admits defeat

And lets the other have the last laugh.
