The credibility of person, who is at the helm of affairs, particularly in the case of recent appointments of judges, is also questionable.
It was an unprecedented event that Chief Justice of Supreme Court paid visit to Tharparkar. Apparently it seems a huge achievement of District Bar Association Tharparkar who convinced the CJP for inaugurating the Library in person.
It may also be appreciated that the lawyers, especially Mr. Vasand Thari, prepared a good issue-based Thar Case and presented very solidly before the CJP. But the credibility of person, who is at the helm of affairs, particularly in this case, is also questionable.
Their role can be seen very clearly in the recent appointment of judges of apex court. That whole episode speaks about his actions louder than words. But we Thari people always hope for the best! And perhaps this initiative will open a number of avenues towards betterment of Thar and its people.
