Worlds Within: Authors’ Traveling Soul

Fergana State Technical University holds session on lives and creative journeys of literary figures

On December 16, a spiritual and educational event and creative meeting titled “Book in My Life” was held at the Palace of Culture of Fergana State Technical University. The event aimed to increase young people’s interest in reading, promote a culture of book appreciation, and provide closer insight into the lives and creative journeys of literary figures.

The event was attended by the Advisor to the Rector of Fergana State Technical University on Information Policy — writer, poet, and translator Sherzod Ortiqov, as well as Farida Anis, a poetess and member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, as honored guests.

Majidov, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, ceremonially presented letters of appreciation from the Rector of the University, U. R. Salomov. These awards were bestowed upon Sherzod Ortiqov and Farida Anis in recognition of their valuable contributions to literature, spirituality, and youth education.

During the event, the guests shared reflections on their life and creative paths, spoke about their newly published works, achievements, and the challenges they have faced, and emphasized the significant role books have played in shaping their personal and professional lives. They also offered valuable advice to young people on the importance of reading in developing worldview, intellectual growth, and spiritual maturity.
