Campus life is not limited to class room and laboratory teachings only. Teachers, Administration and Universities need to invest more physical, intellectual and financial resources in students.

The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBSUTSD) Khairpur and Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences, (IUCPSS) Islamabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Friday for promoting co-curricular activities among university students, sharing diverse experiences and encouraging critical linking.

Prof. Dr. Noor Ahmed Shaikh Vice Chancellor, BBSUTSD and Muhammad Murtaza Noor, National Coordinator IUCPSS signed the MoU.

IUCPSS is a HEC-mandated forum with Public and Private sector Universities as its voluntary members, with objective of promoting co-curricular activities among university students, sharing diverse experiences and encouraging critical linking.

Prof. Dr. Noor Ahmed Shaikh in his speech said that being an Engineering and Technology University, chapters and offices of different national and international bodies like American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Green Youth Movement are established in the University. Apart from this the University promotes the social skills among students through debates, quizzes, sports and essay writing activities

He emphasized that campus life is not limited to class room and laboratory teachings only. Teachers, Administration and Universities at large need to invest more physical, intellectual and financial resources in students to make them future In-charge of varied roles of the society.

Vice Chancellor was of view that through IUCPSS the students of The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development will get increased space for sharing their experiences with students from diverse backgrounds.
