The book “Between Hope and History” is one of the comprehensive books worth reading. It is written by Bill Clinton, the former president of United States of America. The book is all about his personal experience as the president of USA. He has focused on three principles which has helped him as the successful president. He says that if you want to have success in your life then you are to follow blind boldly these three principles as a tool that is Opportunity, Responsibility and the Community. Former President Bill Clinton says that opportunity is fundamental attainment for success but that shall be possible when you feel it as your foremost responsibility to qualify it truly. All that other he believes that you shall serve the community. Every individual American has to realize that fact that opportunity, responsibility and the service to the community is primarily for the progress of the country.
He further writes in his book that government of America is neither small nor big. It has responsibility to meet with the demands of the people as its citizens. He says that when he took reigns of the government as the president. He has faced the multiple challenges, they are raised from the side of Congress and other opposition and from different sections of the society but all that he face them boldly for the welfare of the common people. Bill Clinton moreover writes in his book that America had been victim of various social crimes. They were severe in nature. Such as, state terrorism, street crimes, land mafia, drugs trafficking, rape, child pregnancy, youth unemployment, and other individual as group deviance. To control them to its gross-root, he has ordered for the stiff laws in state, but he says that he faced the great opposition from the congress and had paid for it for the welfare of the people. Bill Clinton says that his aim as the president of USA is to bring the dream of practical welfare for the people of America. Irrespective of any creed, cast and faith, he believes that they are American by heart. Bill Clinton does not wet a aggression, violence and inferior attitude to the neighbor countries. He even supported the mutual relations with the Russia and China. He took steps to lessen the subtle enemy policies for the rogue states and extended hand of friendship for the progress and welfare of the either country. Clinton expresses in his book that world need durable peace. It is only need of all.
Regarding nuclear war, he condemns its use. He encourages to live in peace. To give up nuclear race, he says that they have taken collective efforts to pressures the North Korea to surrender making the nuclear capability for the mass destruction.
Bill Clinton says in the book ‘between hope and history’ that some his die hard congress opponents asked to go for installing star security, to which he defends that it costs us the billions of dollars with stake of living of their people.
Children at the mercy of others will definitely fall prone to the illegal activities. He instructed every parent to supervise the activities of their children at the meager age so that they may not fall to any bad activity. Child must be exposed to the good society so as to become the good citizen. Children should also be given education about their physical change.

Bill Clinton further writes that his country was victim of social problems. Like child pregnancy, drug mafia, youth deviance, weapons in the hands of children. He says that he has passed the bill to control them. But, he says that parents are to play their role as responsible one. They need to fulfill their responsibility as real parents. Setting their children free from any account is irresponsible attitude. He says that state shall be in charge of their welfare later on, first parents are to look after their children carefully. They have a faith that life of an individual is precious. It must be valued to its best.
