FLOWER’S PRAYER

A flower bent in prayer

Drifting on a moonbeam

Parades of paradigms

Deep inside a morphic dream

Soporific signs.

Devotion in worships

People, pieces, places

Something that is mine

And the different faces

Part of the design.

Bordering as a warden

Glitches in the garden

A flower bent in prayer

Can I beg for pardon!

There’s magic in the air.

Across the horizon flow

The colors of the rainbow

The truth inside its eyes

I can hear the grass grow

And birds’ far-off cries.

White fogs on ransom

Flying in the fathoms

Clouds and ultra-light

My love, can you imagine

The cool drips of delight.

Petals folding as one

Settling on the morning sun

A jewel set in the sea

Knowing that we are one

When our minds are free.

Leaves and stems woven

Flowing robes and ribbons

Streams of scented light

Love now freely given

Plumes of pure delight.

Fragrance and mist mingles

Pause and smell the roses

Sigh and cry in bliss

Spring’s breath discloses

On a beautiful day like this.

________

PLACES

Days when my mind sways

And times I’d best forget

Places I’ve left traces

And some I’ve not seen yet

Past the panacea

The universal cure

Soldiers sent to satisfy

What’s left to procure?

In the dumps, across the bumps

And up and down the hills

The destiny of the dooms

Behind the bloody kills

Measure of the treasure

Is looking for the best

Where’s the satisfaction

What is the burning test?

Now the cost of what is lost

And fears of the arrears

What started in happiness

Has now turned to tears

I watch and wait, and when it’s late

I mix my regrets with fears

And then I wait for the dawn to yawn

When the sun’s first rays hope dares.

On such days I feel better

As the best is yet to come

Waiting there in the fresh air

To finally succumb

I sit back and surrender

And join the busy crowd

Good, better, best they call

And shout the words out loud.

__________

WANDERED AWAY

The world we live in now

It looks like we are always at war

With natural resources for sheer colossal power of their staggering stupidity

Forests depleted for concrete alternative

Sea floor dug for gas or food killing life

Our destinies now controlled by people who’ve squandered everything around

The ground that millennia of human civilization offered them as gift

This “average person” could care less about them

They spit on Nature every single day

They spit on human history itself

They’re unworthy of the inheritance they were left

Without any senses to erupt

In volcanic emissions

Lava flows, and heaven knows,

If holy hell and mackerel

Where did those people go

Now we are here by ourselves

For love or pity, I don’t know

I’ve walked this track, then wandered back

And since have sampled more

In the middle of nowhere

The same pain as before

Desolate, depressed and lonely

Since the ship went down

Clinging to the wreckage

Thinking we might all drown!
