Suhina Biswas- Sindh CourierA writer from Kolkata, Bengal and a life-long devotee of Swami Vivekananda, Suhina is against any discrimination. Two significant life-forces propel her – ‘love’ and ‘writing’. Suhina’s book ‘Tumi’ (you) and Songs of Silence (A Journey to Love), are collections of her poetic thoughts.

Let Them Fly

I forget to laugh

Perhaps forget to smile

No more I sob,

Nor indulge tears for a while

I absorb their thought

Those venom they spit

I shiver and suffer

They shout and split

I forget to hate

Don’t try to love

I wish to create

Only a white dove.

Discussion

Just take a break

Though not willingly

But can’t come back

I’ve lost in the rally

The horizon invites

The days shake hands

I try my worst

To get out of the sands

My mind waits

But finds no way

I close my wings

I dare to sway

This sky’s still blue

I’m close to the earth

My breath asks

To hold and walk

The sun’s there

If life’s no where

I know their song

I know they aren’t wrong.
