Poem: The Language of Poetry

Some people turn poetry
Into the language of gods
So little is said
And so much is left
To the understanding of the reader…

THE LANGUAGE OF POETRY
Those who have problem
Handling words and ideas
Images and imagination
Have to write long
Prologues and then epilogues
To finally say
What he has tried to say
All the way.
The masters of metaphor
Often use silence
And what they say
Which is in fact very little
Is charged with intense feeling
Stanzas are like hand grenades
Which explode with meaning
When thrown after removing the pin
Some people turn poetry
Into the language of gods
So little is said
And so much is left
To the understanding of the reader
It depends on your wisdom
Or its opposite
How you treat the oracle’s words
Which are spoken with gaps
And obvious disconnection.
