But it reminded me that in the end you’ll leave me empty.

Once Upon A Time
You were a part of my chapter
Your existence brought rapture
In my soul that was once a forlorn entity
But it reminded me that in the end you’ll leave me empty
Whenever I close my eyes at night
I dreamt of you as I hug my pillow tight
Thinking it was you that I’m embracing
It didn’t miss how it made my heart racing
Did you know!
My heart flutters when I hear your voice
But it was shattered just from the thought I wasn’t part of your choice
You let go and left me unattended
You’ve woken up and realized this should be ended
This feeling that we called ‘love’ was never real
But you didn’t know it was something I have to deal.
