Sindhi Community House London announces celebration of ‘Maha Shivratri’ and ‘Cheti Chand’

Cheti Chand Day will be celebrated on March 23 and the full day Cheti Chand Melo on March 26, 2023

Sindhi Community House (Sindhi Mandir) London UK has announced holding of a grand program ‘Maha Shivratri’ on Saturday 18th February 2023 from 7.00 to 8.30pm.

The program includes Abhishek and Pooja by Pandit Shivpuri, and Shivji’s Kirtan by devotees. Mandir will be open all day for devotees’ pooja offering. Parsad service (including for fasting) Thadal and Rott will be available.

All the Sindhis desiring to attend have been asked to be present at least 15 minutes before the start of the program and bring along Samagri thalis with ingredients for Pooja i.e. Shivling, Arti, flowers, rice, fruit, tilak and Panchamrit (honey, sugar, yogurt, ghee and milk).

The Sindhi Community House has also announced celebration of Cheti Chand Day in March. The Cheti Chand Day program will be held on Thursday 23rd March 2023 from 7.00 to 8.30pm while Cheti Chand Melo will be organized on Sunday 26nd March 2023. It will be a full day program.

Moreover, on Sunday 5th March 2023 from 12.00 noon to 2.00pm, Bhog of Sadharan Path will be read by devotees and Congregational kirtan and langar parsad will be served.

The monthly regular programs include Asa Di Var (Sundays at 7.30 to 8.30am), Sunday Kirtan (Sundays at 12.00 to 1.30pm), Mata Ki Chowki (First Saturday of the month at 7pm), Happy Tuesday Family (First Tuesday of the month at 12noon), Sukhmani Paath (Thursdays at 12.00 to 2.00pm), Satyanarayan Katha (Tuesday 7th March at 12.00), Swami Teooram Maharaj and Swami Shanti Prakash Satsang (Last Saturday of the month at 5.00pm).
