Promotion of four other cops forfeited for two years – SSP Dadu district

SSP Dadu Dr. Abdul Khalique Pirzado has dismissed 13 police officers for patronizing the Gutka Mainpuri trade and failure in taking effective action against narcotic traders.
Briefing the media persons at his office SSP Dadu Abdul Khalique Pirzado gave details of 6-month long crackdown on drug paddlers, and said that several drug paddler and their facilitators have been arrested in the district besides seizing huge quantity of narcotics.
SSP said that some black sheep in police uniform are spoiling police system and those have no place in police department.
He said that action was taken against police officers who were found patronizing sale of Gukta/Mainpuri. He said that an ASI is among thirteen cops dismissed on the charges of patronizing the Gutka trade while four police constables have been punished with forfeiture of promotion for two years.
The cops dismissed from service as major punishment include ASI Bhai Khan Soomro, police constable Ayaz Kolachi, Mir Muhammad Arain, Mukthair Ali Chandio, Mohd Hajan Solangi, Yasin Solangi, Photo Khan Zardari and constable Mukthair Ali Gopang.
SSP said that 4 police constables’ service forfeiture has been approved for two years and an impartial departmental inquiry was conducted against them.
SSP claimed that the police of various police stations have arrested 410 drug paddlers and 370 FIRs were lodged against them and were sent behind the bars.
SSP said that police have recover 750 kg Gutka, 23 Kg material of Gutka, 257 wine bottles and normal size of ICE, and heroin.
