A distinguished delegation from the Hamsa Sama Cultural Organization Denmark visited MES Mampad College, Kerala as part of an international immersion program and an academic collaboration initiative. The visit was organized in connection with an international seminar jointly hosted by MES Mampad College and the University of Calicut.
The prestigious delegation included H.H. Sheikha Maryam Al Sabah, Princess of Kuwait; Dr. Fatima Abu Wasel Igbaria, Director of Hamsaat Sama Al Taqafa International Cultural Organization Denmark; Dr. Abdel Latif Obaid, Former Minister of Education, Tunisia; Engineer Abdul Hafeez Ighbaria, Founder of Hamsaat Sama Al Taqafa International Cultural Organization Denmark; and Dr. Ishraq Krouna, Faculty member at Leon University, France.
The delegation engaged in vibrant discussions with students, scholars, and faculty members during their visit. Highlighting the event, the guests honored eight PhD recipients and four NET-qualified students from the Department of Arabic, acknowledging their academic achievements.
A key highlight of the visit was the unveiling of the logo for the college’s upcoming International Arabic Day celebration. The delegation also expressed interest in forging further academic collaborations with MES Mampad College, promising new opportunities for global exchange and partnerships.
The college community, led by Prof. OP Abdurahiman, Secretary of the College Management Committee, and Dr. Sabique, Head of the Department of Arabic, warmly received the delegation. Faculty members and students played a significant role in ensuring the success of the event, which further cemented the institution’s reputation as a hub for international academic and cultural engagement.
