Sharjeel Inam Memon suggests formation of committee for inquiry and getting the land vacated

The Provincial Minister for Information and Transport Departments, Sharjeel Inam Memon disclosed on Friday that Haleem Adil Shaikh, the opposition leader in Sindh assembly and the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has occupied illegally 50 acres of government land in Karachi.
Responding to the questions raised by the members during question answer session of the Sindh assembly, the minister said that the land under illegal occupation belongs to Sindh transport department. “Haleem Adil Shaikh has established cattle den at the occupied land,” he informed the house.
Sharjeel Memon suggested the house to constitute a committee of the members of Sindh assembly, headed by Nand Kumar, for conducting transparent inquiry and getting the land vacated by the illegal occupant Haleem Adil Shaikh.
He further informed that certain people had encroached seven acres land of Sindh Road Transport Corporation at Sukkur-Shikarpur, which has been vacated and now the Peoples Bus Service Station is being established there. (PR)
