Teams have been dispatched along with equipment on the orders of federal authorities – CEO SEPCO

The teams of Electric Power Supply Companies of Sukkur, Lahore and Multan (SEPCO, LESCO and MEPCO) have been moved to Hyderabad to help the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) in the restoration of power supply disturbed by the Tropical Cyclone Biparjoy.

Power Teams-1Chief Executive Officer of Sukkur Electric Power Supply Saeed Ahmad Dawach said that Secretary Water and Power had directed the CEOs of LESCO, MEPCO and SEPCO to send their technical teams with equipment to restore the power supply disturbed and suspended in the areas affected by the Tropical Cyclone Biparjoy in Badin, Thatta, Sujawal and other areas.

CEO said that he sent a team led by SE construction Pervez Ahmed to assist the Hyderabad Electric0 Power Supply Company in the restoration of the power.

He said that Prime Minister of Pakistan ordered Secretary Water and Power to involve all resources and sources to meet the Cyclone emergency.
