The Lovebird
Oh my bird, why don’t you sleep and rest?
Are you troubled by the wounds?
Or your message?
Express your concerns to her, and you will be rewarded.
Stay away from what you love.
We hear, we see with our eyes, and we ignore.
The lover’s shameful words.
Other acts of greed reveal his hatred.
Don’t associate with the jealous, and don’t sit with the spiteful.
We tried with friends and found it easy.
We like love to be permanent.
We don’t repeat the story of stories.
I was a friend to a relative.
In times of trouble, he sees me angry.
I don’t hear a word from my mouth that would anger him.
But some people have a spirit of hatred.
Their hearts are filled with envy.
They hate you for a reason, only to find you’re the opposite.
They saw you and wanted to hurt you.
Stay under the small, familiar light.
My bird, how are you?
I hope you come back soon.
