Uzbekistan to receive cargo from China through Iran
Container trains operate from Chinese port of Siyamen to Tashkent via Iran and Turkmenistan

Uzbekistan has launched container trains from the Chinese port of Siyamen to Tashkent via Iran and Turkmenistan, Podrobno.uz reported.
The first train is loaded with various household appliances – refrigerators, washing machines and gas stoves. It arrives from the Chinese port of Siyamen to the Sergeli railway station in Uzbekistan in 14 days.
The block train consists of 39 forty-foot containers. From Siyamen they are transported by sea to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas. Here the containers are loaded onto the train and delivered to Uzbekistan through the territories of Iran and Turkmenistan.
