World Organization of Writers (WOW) holds its first Congress in Abuja

Under the slogan ‘We are the People of the same Planet, the WOW Congress will be held April 4-6

Under the slogan (We are the People of the same Planet), the World Organization of Writers (WOW) will organize its first congress, in partnership with the Pan-African Writers Association (PAWA), the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), and the Eurasian People’s Association, this week in the Nigerian capital Abuja, from 4 to 6 April

The Poet and Artist Book of Nigeria

The opening ceremony of the seventh international literary festival WOW-Lifft -2024 will be on Thursday morning, April 4. The opening of the organizational exhibition “Book of the Poet and Artist” will be sharing literature with Nigerian artists, followed by the musical concert.

The event, which hosts poetry readings in Abuja, witnesses the celebration of the  25th World Poetry Day for UNESCO, inaugurated by the UNESCO representative in Nigeria  and UNESCO Ambassador for the Good Well poetess Alexandra Ochirova, and President of the World Organization of Writers (WOW) poetess Margarita Al. Readings will be arranged according to the participating countries.

The World Organization of Writers (WOW) will hold a number of meetings for its members, the founders who signed its Memorandum in Cairo, and officials who certified the organization in Moscow. Some of these meetings will be open via through ZOOM technology, available for sharing with the world writers.

UNESCO Poetry Day

Travels of a Troubadour (A Collection of Travel Stories) By Wale Okediran published by LIFFT, Moscow, Russia. Will be released on April 5, 2024 t the Writers Village, WOW Congress, Abuja, Nigeria. Abuja welcomes some official, such as the Russian Ambassador to Nigeria.

The Cultural Forum dedicated to discussion roundtable will be on “creation The Image of the Future Man in Contemporary Literature”.

The closing ceremony of the seventh international literary festivals WOW-LiFFt – 2024, witnessed the announcement of the awards, in poetry and prose.
