Scholarship Cheques were distributed on Tuesday among 94 students of Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tando Jam under the Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program Phase-I.
Scholarship cheques were distributed among students of first, second, third and fourth year, enrolled in different faculties of the University.
Prof. Dr. Abdullah G. Arijo, Advisor Academics to Vice Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Director University Advancement and Financial Assistance distributed the cheques.
Speaking on this occasion, they said that “We are doing our best to help the students to get scholarships and we wish that Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship, USAID-funded Merit and Needs-based Scholarship, HEC-Need Based Scholarships, Mora Scholarships, AAK Scholarships, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarships and other scholarships can be availed by the students.”
Syed Nauman Ali Shah, Focal Person Scholarships Program briefed about the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program and said that it can help to reduce the poverty and sustain the economic growth of the student’s family to support it in this program. (PR)
