Eye for a Mind
At the light hour
Sunshine dries
The night dew,
Shade and shelter,
Rest and pain.
The curtains seem
Like they lie
When they
Remain unopened.
Yet to wake
The glory of the morning
Walks with
Measured assurances.
The new flowers smile
To kiss
The ray of the sun,
With the colorful breeze.
The morning
Newspaper headlines
Advertise the muddy
And gruesome night stories,
Lives bear
An unspoken tale.
You whitewash
Your shadows
Ringing a bell of fate.
Life is a new game each step.
The rules are unknown
Till you see
With your own eye
For a mind.
