Yet somehow did.

Footprints We Never Meant to Leave
There are places we never planned to belong to
No suitcase of intentions, no map of staying
And yet, something of us lingers there.
A word we spoke lightly,
Like dust in sunlight…
Settles quietly in someone’s memory.
A gesture almost forgotten by us
Becomes a shelter for someone else
On a day we never witnessed.
And then, somewhere between passing and presence,
We turn into a line
In a story we never wrote.
It humbles the soul
This soft, invisible inheritance of being
That without trying, without knowing,
We leave behind footprints
On hearts we never meant to touch…
Yet somehow did.
