VC underlines need of creating more scholarship opportunities for the students of the university.

Interviews were conducted on Monday with the students of Sindh Agriculture University for scholarships through AAK Endowment Fund, of them four students qualified for scholarship.
The interviews were conducted for students of 2K21 Batch Master’s Degree Program in Agricultural Economics.
The interviews were conducted in the 13th meeting of the AAK Endowment committee, held at university conference room, presided over by Dr. Fateh Marri Vice Chancellor SAU Tando Jam.
Prof. Dr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo, Dean Faculty of Agri. Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kazi Suleman Memon, Representative of Donor of AAK Endowment Fund, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan, Chairperson, Department of Agri. Economics, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Director University Advancement and Financial Assistance, Mr. Aneel Kumar, Director Finance Manzoor Hussain Lakhair, Director (Planning and Development), attended the meeting.
Dr. Fateh Marri urges that more scholarship opportunities would have to be created for the students of the university, and in this regard; concerned officials should initiate meetings with the private sector and financially stable personalities and alumni.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar said that Students’ Financial Aid office provide the opportunities for scholarship to our talented students and holds the awareness session with full assistance to students. He added that E-Portal will be launched for stakeholders to give their valuable input to improve the service and quality.
Syed Nauman Ali Shah, Focal Person Scholarships briefed out the Agenda, Working Paper and gave the presentation to the Committee Members.
The Akhlaque Ahmed Khan (AAK) Endowment Fund has been established by his son Mehmood Ali Khan, alumni of Sindh Agriculture University, and an eminent writer. (PR)
