Just inside

This Thai island reef insight

The ocean surface is a lavender pink

Fluid brain

Inside which squirming turquoise delight

And circadian rhythm half light

Willingly accept the privately exchanged language

Of tint and intimacy

Sunrise spoon billed

To roseate genesis

Beyond any word proverb

Promising enlightenment.

Poem 2

Out here

In the northern Thai heartland

It’s a small city

Surrounded by emerald green rice fields

That cuddle limitless continuum

Eloquence

When full moons rise

Impossible slivers of light

Sew the luminous glow

Of awakened souls

To the tops

Of contemplative palms

Lining the river

Poem 3

There’s so much genius to see

From a hillside porch

Forest green treetops glint

Brilliance

Tsunami high hills

Cleave sunward in search

Of perpetual illumination

Needle thin slivers of fog

Sew

The silence beyond silences

That covers the defiant and ugly separation

Of shadowy beings

A spotted fawn vaults

Meadow blue iris below

To pursue

The doe’s veering

Safe path partial cure

Selfless rains

Deeper verdant blush

Charms

The predictable demise

Of haughty translucence

Chain lightning strikes its mind-shattering sash

Of enlightenment

Atop

An eastern crest

Ghostly “I” “mine” fears of death

Dispossession and ego

Surrender

Sublime nothingness

A billionth-of-a-second later

Thrush sung stairwells

Spiral

To the heavens

Where they weep and affirm

Rapture.
