The Spokesperson of the Sindh Government and Advisor to CM Sindh on Law, Barrister Murtuza Wahab, has said that the Sindh Cabinet has approved to conduct the targeted operations for the control of street crimes in the city.

“As a result, crime will now be on the decline. We are enacting more legislation to nip the evil of street crime in the bud and the Law Department has prepared its draft,” he said on Monday after the Cabinet meeting.

“The Safe City Authority Act has also been approved. This year the Sindh Government will complete its first phase together with NRTC. Cameras will be installed at the entry and exit points of Karachi,” Murtuza Wahab said in media briefing of the cabinet meeting which was held at the Chief Minister’s House.

He informed the media that the agenda of the meeting was so lengthy, so there will be another cabinet meeting on Thursday.
