A major auction for the sale of state-owned properties in Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan, is scheduled for September 12, 2024. The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan will put up for auction a number of significant properties, including administrative buildings of business associations, retail premises and state-owned shares. The corresponding announcement was published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Among the most attractive lots in the capital are two administrative buildings of the Nur Zaman and Damjaly Baglar business associations, located on G. Kuliyev Street in Ashgabat. The starting price for each of them is 45,968,148 manats. Also up for sale are the retail premises of the Turkmenbashi Joint-Stock Commercial Bank and the Garadamak auto repair shop of the Turkmenavtoulaglari agency.
The auction will be held in a digital format on the www.e.fineconomic.gov.tm platform and through a mobile application. Both citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign citizens and legal entities who have completed the necessary registration and paid the required fees are allowed to participate. Foreign participants must have a conclusion from the Agency for the Protection of the Economy from Risks.
