Medicines were provided by the JDC whereas, Doctors of Karachi Medical and Dental College voluntarily rendered their services for the camp.

More than 40,000 patients were examined by the specialist doctors and free medicines were distributed amongst the sick at a joint two-day medical camp organized by Security Division, Sindh Police and a welfare organization JDC in taluka hospital Kandiaro, district Naushahro Feroze for the flood victims.

During the two days medical camp, the Special Security Unit (SSU) provided complete logistic support and security for the camp.

Whereas, Doctors of Karachi Medical and Dental College voluntarily rendered their services for the camp. While, Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital conducted free on-spot eye operations and testing services were offered by the Ali Clinical Laboratory.

On this occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed extended his gratitude to General Secretary JDC Zafar Abbas, Medical Superintendent Dr. Hameed Ansari, volunteer doctors and staff of Ibrahim Eye Hospital.

He added that personnel of Security Division showed extraordinary performance on humanitarian grounds, their services are worth appreciating and unforgettable. (PR)
