Dr. Abdullah G. Arijo, a retired Professor of Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) has been honored with Lifetime Achievement Award during the International Congress of Zoology, held at Punjab University Lahore.
He has been honored with award in recognition of his outstanding performance in academic and research field.
Dr. Abdullah G. Arijo is the former Chairman and Professor of the Department of Parasitology (Zoology), Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.
He received the award from Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission.
Dr. Arijo has played an important role at the national and international level through his research in collaboration with German and American universities. He has authored 5 books in the field of parasitology and his 106 research papers have been published in various international and national journals.
He has supervised 6 PhDs and more than 70 M.Phil. and MSc scholars during his academic career Dr. Arijo has also received the University’s Best Teacher Award in 2015, while in March 2015 he was awarded the Zoologist of the Year Award by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad Pakistan. (PR)
