Killing of Journalists: AJA condemns Israel’s barbarian act of genocide

Asia Journalists Association (AJA) urges the international community to come forward and stop the genocides and atrocities

Taking a serious view of the killing of journalists in Israeli attacks in Gaza, the Asia Journalists Association (AJA) has urged the international community to come forward and stop the genocides and atrocities, and take responsible action to ensure an immediate ceasefire.
“Asia Journalist Association(AJA) believes that threatening people is a red line, killing innocent civilians is a red line, destroying homes a top of its residents is a red line, bombing religious facilities, educational institutions and hospitals, buildings is a red line, depriving children from water, food, electricity and medicine is a red line, setting fire on the tents of the citizens who had to flee their ruined houses is a red line, shooting at journalists, doctors and rescue workers is a red lines,” the AJA said in a statement.
Preliminary investigations by the Committee for Protecting Journalists (CPJ) in the United States, as of May 28, 2024, showed at least 107 journalists and media workers were among the more than 37,000 killed since the war began, making it the deadliest period for journalists since CPJ began gathering data in 1992.
The United Nations has been witnessing how much the occupying state of Israel has crossed all those red lines. In fact, Israel Defense Army has been crossing all red lines for 75 years, since they settled in Palestine in 1947, and more recently they have no boarder to stop as they are killing people in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt. It seems that there is no barrier to sanction their massacres.

“Asia Journalist Association (AJA), as an organization seeking for peace for the whole world, condemns all such barbarian act of genocide practiced. We call our fellow citizens in our world to come forward to prevent unjustifiable damage. Our mission is to report the truth and support the rights of citizens to live safely on their own country,” it said.
“This is not neither a religious nor an ethnic issue, rather it is entirely a guarantee of a natural right on a humanitarian level. The international community is urged to stop the genocides and atrocities, and take responsible action to ensure an immediate ceasefire,” AJA statement concludes.
