During his visit, Commissioner Abbas Baloch notices absence of the health staff, lack of medicine, and non-provision of ambulance to patients in Taluka Hospital Tando Adam

Divisional Commissioner, Shaheed Benazirabad, Muhammad Abbas Baloch paid surprise visits to various government institutions including public school and hospital in Tando Adam on Thursday.
He took notice of the absence of the teachers in school and lack of staff and medicine in Taluka Hospital, and remarked that it is result of administrative incompetence.
Divisional Commissioner had arrived in Tando Adam on a surprise visit to address the grievances of the Public regarding ongoing development works of various government departments.
He visited the public school Tando Adam, which has not been functional in terms of administration and teaching for the past 15 years, after which the Commissioner also visited the Mother and Child Care Center under construction in Tando Adam.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, he said that the building of Public School Tando Adam is very beautifully constructed, in which the teaching process will be started as soon as possible under public-private partnership.
He said that Mother and Child Care Center will be handed over to PPHI to provide health facilities to the people of Tando Adam.
The commissioner expressed his anger on the concerned officials on the absence of the health staff, lack of medicine, and non-providing ambulance to patients in Taluka Hospital Tando Adam and said that there are countless complaints regarding the Taluka Hospital for which he ordered Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam to furnish a report.
He said that all the complaints of the people will be resolved and also directed the Deputy Commissioner Sanghar present on the occasion to submit a comprehensive report on the problems of Tando Adam Taluka Hospital so that these problems can be resolved.
He said that if the Medical Superintendent of Taluka Hospital did not work properly, then he will take up this with Secretary Health to remove him and appoint someone else and if with the appointment of other MS the issues will not resolve then the Taluka Hospital will be handed over to PPHI.
Regarding the roads in the city, he said that their repair work was going on from the annual development program and also from royalty of the oil and gas to construct the remaining roads.
When asked about the unannounced prolonged load shedding of electricity and gas in the Tando Adam city, he said that he will talk to Hesco and other relevant officials to get prepared an urgent strategy to minimize the load shedding issue.
Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Paras Dero, Faraz Dero, Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Muhammad Ishaq Gaad and others were accompanied him.
