Woes of People

75-years of corruption, crippling economy, blame game, political instability, inflation, poverty and unemployment

The people themselves will have to rise and play a role in driving out the corrupt politicians, who are in power or are fighting for power, from the country

Since last seventy-five years the people of Pakistan have heard of crippling economy of the country, corruption, political instability, poverty, unemployment, inflation and blame game among the politicians.

Lip service is done to make the people realize that the politicians have concern regarding the issues related to the common people. Rulers constantly try to divert the attention of people from the shortcomings of their government by creating such situation in the country so that the people shouldn’t talk on the policies of the incumbent government.

The current unprecedented hike in price of petroleum products, electricity, gas added more miseries to the lives of people. The present rulers, when in opposition, strongly protested against the policies of the PTI government, but after coming into power their policies have overburdened the masses with hike in petroleum, gas and electricity tariff, resulting in multiple increase in the prices of essential commodities as well as all other things.

The life of daily wagers and salaried people has gone worse after the mini budget through which new taxes worth Rs.170 billion have been imposed.

The rulers have neglected the elimination of corruption and bringing an end to political instability, which in fact has crippled the economy. Crippling economy and corruption give birth to unemployment and inflation. Poverty is caused by these all mentioned.

Now the people themselves will have to rise and play a significant role in driving out the corrupt politicians, who are in power or are fighting for power, from the country.
