Angela Kosta, an international poet native to Albania, journalist, translator, essayist, literary critic, publisher, and cultural promoter, author of published 27 books, proclaims herself the Character of the Month for May at the prestigious magazine THE SEVENTH QUARRY PRESS in Great Britain.

Angela Kosta is Executive Director of the print magazines Miriade, Nuances on the Panoramic Canvas, and Bridges of Literature and promoter in varios journal.

She is co-author in various anthologies in the USA, UK, India, Bangladesh, Albania, Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia, Indonesia, Kosovo, and others.

She serves as Vice President of the Association of Writers, Artists, and Translators in South Korea and as a Cultural and Peace Ambassador in several non-profit organizations in USA, Canada, Bangladesh, Poland, Algeria, Egypt, Mexico, Romania, Yemen, Moldova, and more.

She is a member of the Union of Albanian Writers (LSHASH) and BSHBSH – Italy, of the Albanian American Academy of Science and Art (AAA – USA), Honorary Consultant of the Women’s Chair Association supported by the UN, a member of VerbumlandiArtAps (recognized by the Italian Senate), and part of the Association of Chinese Writers and Artists (ACC), as well as other cultural institutions in Greece, Poland, Hungary, Mexico, Romania, Croatia, India, and Bangladesh.

On March 6, 2025, Angela Kosta participated in the extraordinary cultural event “Female Excellence” at Sala Zucchari in the Italian Senate as a member of the VerbumlandiArtAps Association and a jury member of the competition. She has been translated and published in 45 languages and countries.

In 2024 alone, she appeared in over 170 national and international newspapers and magazines with poetry, articles, interviews, essays, reviews, and more, receiving numerous awards from prestigious global media outlets.

Literary Works: Author of 16 books, including poetry, drama, and critical essays. His poetry has been featured in numerous international publishers such as Penguin, Puffin, Macmillan, Oxford University Press, and others, reaching wide audiences in educational and literary contexts.

Notable Achievements:

His poem Kilvey Hill is permanently displayed in a stained-glass window at Saint Thomas Community School, Swansea.

Featured extensively on TV and radio broadcasts across the UK, US, Romania, Serbia, and beyond.

Published in numerous literary magazines and newspapers internationally, including Poetry Review (UK), New England Review (USA), and Poetry Wales.

Recognized in key Welsh and international literary references, including The New Companion to the Literature of Wales and Who’s Who of Poetry.

Recipient of prestigious awards: Eric Gregory Award, Royal Literary Fund Award, Arts Council of Wales Award, TED Slade Award, Homer European Medal, Naji Naaman Literary Honour, Cross-Cultural Communications Literary Arts Award, and first English-language recipient of the Korean Poets Society/MIJU Award, among others.

Founder and Editor of The Seventh Quarry, an internationally-oriented poetry magazine based in Swansea.
