SYNW Congratulates Ashraf Aboul-Yazid on winning Sawiris Award for Children’s Literature

The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) is pleased to extend its warmest congratulations to Ashraf Aboul-Yazid for winning the prestigious Sawiris Award for Children’s Literature. Aboul-Yazid, an Egyptian writer, novelist, poet, and journalist, has been recognized for his latest work ‘My Cat Writes a Book’, which has won the hearts of children and adults alike.

In a statement signed by Wole Adedoyin, SYNW President, described Ashraf Aboul-Yazid as an accomplished cultural journalist with over three decades of experience. “Aboul-Yazid has played a pivotal role in promoting and advancing the arts and literature in Egypt and beyond. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of Next News Network and its sister publication, Magazine N, which is published in Korean, English, and Arabic.
