The grades of Professor, Associate and Assistant Professors, Senior Registrar and Demonstrators are now equal to BB Medical College Lyari

Sindh government on Tuesday issued a notification of the Salary Package and Pay Scale of the Professors and other faculty of Khairpur Medical College equaling to Shaheed Muhatarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College Lyari Karachi.
According to the notification the grade of a Professor has been raised from 20 to 21, Associate Professor from grade 19 to 20 grade, Assistant Professor from grade 18 to 19 grade, Senior Registrar from grade 18 to 19 and demonstrators from grade 17 to grade 18 of the faculty members of the Khairpur Medical College.
Principal Khairpur Medical College Prof Rukhsar Ali Shahani and Administrator of KMC Dr. Abdul Hayee Phulpoto said that KMC administration had pursued CM Sindh, Health Minister, Chief Secretary and Secretary Health to address the concerns of the Faculty members of the KMC to revise the Salary Package and Pay scales equal to Shaheed Muhatarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College Lyari.
They said that finally KMC Administration met its target. “In our struggle ex-CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah played a pivotal role and took up the issue with Bilawal Bhutto and CM Sindh,” they said.
They said that KMC Khairpur has pledged to meet all Challenges of the health science and come up to the confidence of the People of Khairpur in term of delivering best health services in hospital.
They said that KMC faculty members and its staff are taking all out efforts to make KMC an exemplary in Academic and administrative affairs.
