Looking down the road

With many going to and fro

Back and forth

Left and right

Up and down

Fast and slow.

When I asked their direction

They said “Towards perfection”

ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE

Let the whole brigade

Mount their barricade

Let them come out in ranks

With their mortars and tanks

Let them cock their rifles

Or let them lock their rifles

Let them begin their martial march

To come between our marital match

Tell their commander

I’m coming for you; Amanda

And this is a canon

That love fears no cannon

If they try to investigate

Tell them love intoxicate

And they should forgive my err

For in love all is fair.

THE SEEKER

Day by day I go around

Seeking where answers abound.

A beast of burden with loads

I traverse every roads.

Many nights I lie awake

Taking stock of my take

After sieving out voices

From multitude of noises.
